Engraved items that are completed to the customers
approved proof and specifications will not receive a refund or
exchange. Changes or modifications to an order after the
order has been completed is not permitted. QPB Laser Services
(QPBLS) may require proof of any errors or defects. It is
not possible for QPB Laser Services to predict or
warranty personal preference for items engraved per the
customers approved proof and specifications. QPBLS
cannot ensure that engraving results will meet the
customers expectations. This especially applies
to engraved
photographs because there are so many factors involved
with
engraving photos. These factors involve a multiple of possible characteristics
that we (QPBLS)
have very little to no control over. The customer assumes full responsibility
for the accuracy of their their submitted information,
to read the associated information pertaining to their
engraving order and to ensure that the content provided to QPBLS
is correct when placing the order and submitting the
final approval of the proof.
3. All engravable stock items includes the image
processing, setup and engraving of one picture and any
capable text in the price posted. We do not charge for extra letters / characters or lines of text! So you can add your picture and say what ever you want with your personalized engraving without the complication of detailed per character or per line calculation cost. Some items may include extra engraving options for an additional cost. For collage engravings that involve more than one image processing, there is a $15.00 charge for each additional image
to be processed.
Digital graphics should be 300 dpi and equal in print
size as the engraving. We will look at your picture to
determine if meets requirements. If we determine that it
does not meet the requirements we will notify you. If the
image needs a simple fix we may do it free of charge. If
the image will require extensive processing, graphics work
starts at $15.00 up depending the time required to
accomplish work. We will determine and provide you with
the cost of work for approval before work begins. Click here for details about

4. Your privacy is very important to use. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise distribute your personal information for any purpose, ever. When you place an order with QPB Laser Services, you are guaranteed that all information you provide including your name, address, telephone number and credit card number will be secure with us. QPB Laser Services Website Orders

& Customer Information".) Website orders (on site items) should be made using our online order forms. Our order forms are designed to provide you with every option available and the ease of browsing through each option at your leisure
to ensure accuracy. Ordering personalized items requiring such details over the phone will
certainly take as much as 4 times longer than ordering
using our online order forms. Using the order form ensures you and us that
all of your information is exactly correct and is the way you want it.
Because of the details required for personalized orders,
we do not take orders over the phone and therefore we do
not staff for phone orders. We welcome your inquiries,
please see our contact information at the top of this
page.
Alternative Credit Card Entry Method:
(for additional security)
Even though our order forms are sent over SSL 128 bit
encrypted connection and the fact that we have never had even one
incident with this system, some folks are still nervous
about entering their credit card information on an online order
form. We truly understand every ones concern on this matter. As
an alternative, we offer you the option to use a two part
entry method for your card number. This same method is
used by banks and government agencies and it is very simple.
1. Complete the entire order form as you normally would
with one exception, only enter the first 8 numbers of
your card number.
2. Submit the order form when all fields are completed. Once
submitted, you should then receive the "Order Success" page for you
to review and print your order information.
3. You can then click on the link "ORDER REVISIONS FORM" found at the bottom of the "Order Success" page.
4. In the revision form, enter the last eight digits of your card number and then submit the
form.
This fully separates your information into two fully
encrypted forms.
Easy online order forms
Laser engraving is a specialty service and every order is different. Due to the fact that different items and materials require different options and processes, we separate them onto their own order form. All hardwood plaques, for example, are on their own order form and Rosewood card boxes are on their own order form, etc.. This greatly reduces confusion of having too many non-applicable options on one form. So, ordering multiple items using different order forms is really easy!
Additional Savings!
Plus, we will treat multiple orders (back to back orders) sent to us by the same customer as one order (unless otherwise instructed). In combining the orders, you may be eligible for additional immediate savings of which will be deducted from your orders total.
Ordering Process:
The following is a general overview of the steps taken in the order process.
1. Add your product selections to the shopping
cart and click the check out button when ready.
If you change the quantity of an item, be sure to click
the update button for cart to reset. There are two
checkout buttons to choose from. One is for orders with
engraving required and the other one is for orders
without any engraving. Select the appropriate checkout
button for your order.
(Note that when you click the check out button all forms
are processed through SSL - Secure Order 128 bit
encryption.)
2. Fill out the customer information form and submit.
3. Make your payment type selection.
4. Complete the final order form providing all required
information and details about your engraving
request if your order includes engraving. Submit form
once you have ensure the accuracy of information.
5. In just a few seconds a verification page will appear. This page is for you to copy and paste for you records.
6. If you find that you made an error, click the "Order
Revision" button at the bottom of the form. This will
take you to the Order Revision page so that you can
provide any corrections or addition information.
7. Upload your picture(s) if you are having one engraved
with your order.
Your order process is now complete. What happens next?
1. All order require an Order Proof & Confirmation.
We will process your Confirmation
and email it to you as quickly as possible once we
receive your order (usually within one work day). When you receive the
confirmation email, review it for accuracy and
reply back providing your Order Confirmation approval status.
2. Upon approval, charges are processed to
secure payment prior to beginning engraving work and/or
shipping orders without engraving.
3. Order is then processed, packed with receipt of sale enclosed and
shipped as approved. If you select to have your order sent to an alternate address,
you may request to have a PDF receipt sent to you via
your email address.
4. If you selected to have a confirmation number emailed
to you, it will be sent once your order has been sent
out.
*All orders are scheduled into production in the order
that we receive proof confirmation approvals and not by
the order in which orders are placed.
Order Confirmations & Proofs: Good for you and us! ALL Internet orders
that require a proof and
confirmation before we can process the order. This
process is to additionally protect us and our customers. This is a FREE service that we offer our
customers. An Order Confirmation is emailed to you to provide you with a full review of your order, the total cost
and a Proof of your engraving layout. This provides you with the
ability to confirm that you are satisfied with the terms
of their order. Your Order Conformation is sent
once your order is verified by us (usually within one work day.
Monday thru Friday).
All
Order Confirmation & Proof require a response
from the customer before any work will begin! Again, we will not process your order
until we receive your confirmation approval first.
This requires that you reply back with the
option, " I approve this order".
Once approved, we will process your order ASAP with charges
executed accordingly. Receipt of sale is provided with
your order shipment.
A
"Proof" is a black and white picture of what your engraving will look like. These images are compressed in size for the purpose of emailing. Getting a proof gives you the complete control of your engraving layout, spelling, punctuation, spacing, etc.. We will make any adjustments you specify and send you another proof for your approval.
We can not guarantee that all proofs will get out in one day. Heavy order periods and possible interruptions in internet service due to server interruptions can prevent executing proofs on time. We can say that every effort is
always made to get every confirmation out within 24 hours of receiving it.
Simple instructions are provided in the confirmation that explains the requirements of confirmation approvals.
Being an online business, the entire order process is conducted online
via email. We will not call you for compliance. If we do not receive a
response after sending the first proof, we will send it again after two
days. If we still do not receive a response within two days after second proof
is sent, the order may be cancelled.
Order confirmations and proofs
for engraving work are based on the initial details and information provided with an order. Confirmations and proofs take time to process. Expected
request for changes include such things as resizing a font or repositioning of artwork. If you choose to make major changes such as submitting different text or picture from the original, you maybe subject to a processing fee
ranging from $15.00 to $30.00 based on the details and time it takes to
re-process a new image and layout.
Note: The entire Order Confirmation & Proof process may add a couple days to the process before your order can be processed.
All orders are scheduled
into production in the order that we receive proof confirmations
approvals
and will not be determined by when orders are placed.

Payment Options and Process:
QPB Laser Services accepts Master Card, Visa, cashiers check or money order. Cashiers checks and money orders should be made payable to: QPB Laser Services. See address at the top of this page.
*All sales, services and laser engraving work must be paid for in full before work begins and before orders are shipped. We do not invoice orders.
*International Orders over $100.00 may require payment via cashiers check and cleared before order is processed.
*Large orders that exceed normal inventory stock will
require advancement to secure purchase.
*If your order requires extensive layout or graphics
work, a partial payment maybe required before proof is
processed.
*Providing false or otherwise misleading billing
information on the order form will result in order
cancellation.
*Cashiers checks and money orders are preferred. Business checks
may take as much as 2 - 3 weeks before they can verified.
Please do not send personal check. No orders can be processed until payment
is verified.
NOTICE ABOUT RE-ORDERING POLICY CHANGE: ( 9/07 )
The option allowing return customers not to have to
re-enter their billing information when placing additional orders has been
removed from our order forms. The option allowed return customers
to select the option," I am a return customer using my previous billing
information." They would therefore not be required to enter their billing
information again on the order form and we would use
their previous billing info on file. But, we had a problem with company's employee re-ordering stuff
using this option but without the actual card holders permission. It caused us a
great deal of grief and as a result, we removed the option. Our new policy is
simply that if the individual has the card information when they place an order,
we can only assume they have permission to use it. If someone uses a card that
is not theirs and without permission of the card holder, the liability is
between that individual and the card holder and not with us (QPBLS). This also
means that we cannot accept an email or phone call asking
us to use previously applied billing information. Doing
business online vs. in an actual "brick and mortar store"
presents different requirements to protect all parties
involved in the transactions. All orders must be done
online using our secure SSL order form. All information
must be provided with the order via the online order form
system.

Engraving Included:
Many of our stock items are posted with "Engraving Included". These items include our setup time, processing of one image (unless otherwise indicated), text layout and the actual laser engraving. Items posted as engraving included also are offered with no extra charges for additional letters or characters. This applies to an item as shown and displayed. For example: Stock items such as boxes that include engraving will be for one side, usually the top side, only. Any additional engraving will be subject to additional charges. Additional pictures or artwork will be subject to an $18.00 processing charge per instance. This
charge maybe waived contingent upon quantity ordered.
Laser Engraving Capabilities: (Technical applications are as follows)
Engravable area is 24" X 20", cylindrical engraving capable, laser cutting up to .500" (material dependant), items engravable up to approximately 40" in length depending on the article and requirements. We can laser engrave wood, wood veneers, plastic acrylic, marble, glass, ceramic, leather, anodized aluminum and more. If you have an odd shaped item(s) that you want engraved, we might be able to construct the necessary jigs (fixtures or templates) to engrave those hard to engrave items.
Copyrights & Trademarks:
By submitting logos, art or any other images to QPB Laser Services, it is assumed that you have the legal rights and/or legal permission and therefore you are authorizing QPB Laser Services to reproduced said images. Purchaser / customer agrees to assume any liability resulting from actions or demands brought against supplier for all trademark or copyright infringements.
Lead Time Policy: Regular size orders for stock engravable items are almost always completed and shipped within
3 to 4 work days after we have the order confirmation approval. Order completion is dependant on order load, stock availability and size of order. During heavy order periods an average expected process time is approx. 5 working days. For all engraving request we ask that you please give us as much time as possible to complete your order. In all cases, we do everything we can to get orders out as quickly as possible. *Some items are posted with specific lead times.
Large engraving orders
and specialty items such as wooden
nickels and jigsaw puzzles are usually completed within 5 to 10 working days (Monday to Friday) after we have your approved order, depending on order load and size of order. Purchaser will be notified via email if their order will exceed 10 working days prior to beginning work.
Rush order charge may apply during peek busy periods. This charge is relative to cost incurred to get the work done and is required to be paid in full before work begins. Rush orders on demand will only be entertained for
"in stock item" orders. For 2 day rush orders add 25% and for next day jobs add 35%. These turn around times can only be reserved explicitly by QPB Engraving Services.
Keeping the schedule: When an order
is placed with a set expectation date,
the client is responsible to provide
all details and graphics in a timely
manner. In the event that a client does
not provide details or graphics to QPB
Laser Services in the time determined
necessary to process the order on time,
the client may be subject to charges
for compensation of overtime hours
required to complete the job on
schedule. All stock items are priced
with laser engraving included which is
based on running an order during
regular hours of operation. If
customer supplies any inaccurate
information that prevents QPB Laser
Services from processing the order, the
order will be rescheduled from the date
that accurate information is obtained -
regardless of previous scheduling
commitments. QPB
Laser Services cannot be held
responsible for late orders caused by
delinquent client responsibilities.
Items Mailed to us:
QPB Laser Services is not liable for the condition of any images, artwork or photographs that are sent to us, returned from us or otherwise lost in the mail or shipping.
Please, do not sent us any "valuable", "irreplaceable" or otherwise "one of a kind images" without prior notification and approval with QPB Laser Services. We suggest that you send us a copy of your image.
If your photo is a one off, we strongly suggest that you get it professionally copied. Send us the copy and you keep the original.
When mailing pictures, be sure to place cardboard or other rigid material around photo to prevent damage to it in transit. You may also want to insure the item.
Photographs that we receive creased or otherwise damaged may be deemed unusable for laser engraving and may require another picture sent. The time for digitally repairing images is not included in our product cost and will be subject to addition charges, if applicable. We may return images sent to us with the completed order.
Conditional Statement on Natural Wood and Marble Products:
Due to the differences in video displays, the color and
grain of wood, marble and other products as it appears
online may not be true to life. All of our wood products
contain real wood. Wood has many characteristics and
variations in density, even when cut from the same board.
As a result, each item may and mostly will be different
from one another. Wood plaques are made from "slats" of
wood glued together with opposing grains. This is what
gives the plaque the ability to resist warping. Because
of this construction, plaques naturally have some grain
variations. Wooden jigsaw puzzles and any other wood
items that contain multiple pieces will have variations
in wood grains, stain and finish retention. All of these
conditions are a result of the natural characteristics of
wood. Because we have very limited control of these
natural characteristics, we cannot make any guarantee
that the wood, wood grain or the color will match from
one piece to another. All marble products are made of
natural stone and may have naturally occurring micro
fracture lines and/or grains, white spots and will have a
varying range of blackness.
Pricing and Posted Information:
Pricing and/or options are subject to change without notice. All orders placed before a price change will retain the initial price before it was updated.
Special requested laser engraving that exceeds our standard operating procedures or method of operation maybe subject to an additional charge(s).
There is a minimum product purchase amount of $30.00 for
